We have our annual Fall Retreat this year at Crestline, California up at Camp Seely. The event date will be available when it gets closer to October. This is a time where everyone gathers together to learn more about Christ while meeting new people. It’s always a great time being in community with one another to build a relationship with God and our peers. During our retreat we have quiet times & devotions, fun activities, great speakers, our costume party, and fantastic grub. We hope you can join us!
During my sophomore year of college, I attended my first fall retreat and it was such a great experience. At first it was a bit intimidating because I only knew a few people from my bible study but I decided to step out of my comfort zone. I really enjoyed the weekend away because it was a time of self reflection and building a close relationship with God. There were many opportunities to have private time with the Lord such as morning devotions, quiet time during the evening, and even during worship. Another thing I was able to experience is something I cherish with all my heart and that is, community. Making friends in itself isn’t the most difficult task in the world but it is difficult to find ones that have such a passion for Christ. I was so glad that I decided to go because some of my closest friends now are the ones I met at fall retreat. Their hearts yearn for the Lord and I am so blessed to have been able to experience that with them. Don’t be afraid to do something that may seem frightening or uncomfortable because it might be the best decision you will make.

If you ask me, Fall Retreat has allowed me to connect with such an awesome community of people who truly watch and care for you. I’ve made friends who have been there for me in the good times and the bad. I’ve also gotten to know people who have seen the more unflattering sides of me and still have my back.
Above all, I’ve been given opportunities to seek after God and His plan for my life. I learned about a God who loves me like no one else ever could.
So if you’re still considering whether you should go to Fall Retreat this year, I say you definitely should! Not only will you gain a family, more importantly you’ll gain a great Father.

I am so excited for FALL RETREAT this weekend! I have gone the past two years and both experiences have grown me and taught me so much about God and how great it is to have a community of people who always point you back to Him. It is honestly one of my favorite times of the year because we get to escape the craziness of life and school for a weekend, be surrounded by beautiful nature in the Mountains, and just spend time relaxing with friends, and learning new things.
I am so stoked for what is in store at Fall Retreat!! It is truly a great place to meet new people (even if you are shy), and all are welcome!
